We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Pre-Admissions Testing department as a Patient Experience Specialist.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care through pre-op and discharge phone calls.

Schedule: 3 PM - 8 PM (with potential flexibility), varying days Monday through Friday.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse with us:

• You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure/surgery.
• You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated.
• You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately.
• You will initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other.
• You may work telephonically or in-person with the patient.
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
